GPEP for tenants. We are a reliable partner to our tenants, throughout the entire lease period. We ensure a smooth start and remain approachable and responsive, not just by email but – most importantly – in person.

Marcel Fuhr

Remembering Marcel Fuhr

On April 25, 2025, our founder and managing director Marcel Fuhr passed away at the age of 50 after a brief but serious illness. With his passing, we have lost a visionary entrepreneur who shaped GPEP GmbH with passion, integrity, and foresight. His entrepreneurial legacy and values will continue to guide our actions in the future.

Herwart W. Reip

Managing Director

Herwart W. Reip is GPEP’s co-founder and also has three decades of experience in the financial industry. The stages of his professional life include companies such as Merck Finck, Allgemeine Hypothekenbank, Aareal Bank and the Capmark Financial Group. Herwart has restructured and sold properties worth several billion euros for well-known investors from the banking industry.

Jörn Burghardt

Managing Director

Jörn Burghardt has been Managing Director at GPEP since August 2021. Previously, he was managing director and member of the board of the Hahn Group for more than 11 years. Hailing originally from Rhineland, he has been passionate about the real estate sector for over 25 years now. And about the FC Cologne, of course.
